Hello,

My name is Aaron Guttenberg. I am an Illustrator, Photographer, and Cinematographer from Winston Salem, North Carolina, now based in Los Angeles. This space is for me to showcase the work I have been doing and continue to do creatively. During 2019 I had the luxury of sending some time away from LA, in Northern Arizona, in an attempt to focus on my creative work and to reconcile some of the abstraction of entering the adult world. Living in solitude proved to be more difficult than I had anticipated, but during that time I drew and digitized illustrations, shot 3 rolls of film and countless digital photographs, read several books, and learned a whole lot about myself. More than anything I feel that this time in Arizona allowed me to hone my skills with a camera, pen and paper, and a computer. I spent time in places all over the South West of the United States, and I hope that the personal significance of that time is translated visually.
